MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
- Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is helpful for families of young children struggling with behavior. There are many therapists offering this. You can start with your insurance list of psychologists or here:
- Children's Mercy offers an online class for 3.5 -5 year olds and 6-12 year olds
- KCPCIT offers PCIT for children 2-7 years of age
- KU offers PCIT

Self-help resources for youth:
- 988 is a number to call that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

- Free apps that have been shown to help anxiety and depression are available from IntelliCare. These apps are part of a nationwide research study funded by the National Institutes of Health.
