- Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder: CHADD is the nation’s leading non-profit organization serving individuals with ADHD and their families. See their Tool Kit for many resources.
- National Institute of Mental Health Booklet: NIMH is a detailed booklet that describes ADHD symptoms, causes, and treatments, with information on getting help and coping.
- ADHD Medications Available Guide can help identify the various short and long acting medications. Generics are identified. You can use this with your formulary to help pick a cost effective option.
- Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database has supporting evidence for and against various natural treatments.
Local Support Groups:
- ADHDKC.org: A local parent support group that is an affiliate of CHADD. They offer a number of resources, including a website, Facebook page, Pinterest page and local + online meetings.
- ADHDKCTeen: A local support group for middle and high school students with ADHD (even those who aren't diagnosed but struggle with executive functioning, impulsivity, organization, and more). Follow them on Instagram!.

Learn Online About ADHD
- ImpactParents has a blog with information helpful for parenting kids with ADHD, anxiety, and other neurodivergent kids. They also have a popular parenting podcast, books and an online coaching program.
- TEACH ME ADHD is an online interactive course for kids 8-12 years of age and their parent(s) to learn about ADHD together. The 8-week course has a detective theme and kids and parents choose code names. There are family missions and deeds to work on together each week to build skills. Dr. Stuppy has become one of the Agents at Headquarters and offers a couple classes per year. This is not affiliated with Pediatric Partners and our patients are able to take the course from any of the Agents, but Dr. Stuppy is willing to offer discounts to Pediatric Partners families.
